F.A.Q.

Frequently Asked Questions

I want my podcast on Apple? Can you do that?

Yes we do. That’s a standard part of our service.

In addition to Apple, we’ll make sure your podcast is syndicated across all major podcast platforms including Google, Spotify, Alexa and iHeartRadio.

Can my podcast appear on my website?

Yes. As part of our standard set of services, we will provide you – and any guests you specify- with links to your show. You can use these to embed an individual episode or your entire show in your own website.

Can you provide on-air talent as well as production services??

Absolutely. We are able to provide on-air talent as well as behind-the-scenes production, publishing and promotion.

How often should I publish a podcast episode?

It depends on your audience.

If you want to create a general-interest show, like Joe Rogan’s for example, then you should publish as often as possible. Several times a week would be best.

If – like most podcasters – your audience is highly targeted, then the rules are a little different.

If each episode is long-form – meaning more than 20 minutes  – you should aim for one new episode a week. If each episode is less than 20 minutes long, then you should aim to publish several episodes each week.

Do you have a list of the equipment we would need to use?

Of course we do! Check it out.

How do I make sure my podcast appears on Apple iTunes

Apple accounts for about 60% of all podcast listeners. So it makes sense to make sure Apple users and listeners can access your podcast.

That’s a standard part of our service. When you partner with us, we’ll make sure your podcast gets syndicated on Apple.

Do I need my own podcasting studio to create a professional sounding show?

No, you don’t. There is a minimum amount of equipment you need to create a show that people enjoy listening to. But – asssuming you already have a computer – you can get all the equipment you need for less than $1000. And that includes the material you need to make your room sound like a good recording studio.

Do I have to do interviews to make a good podcast?

Of course not.

The best podcasts both inform and entertain. Good conversation is one of the best ways to entertain, though not the only way.

As long as you have something useful to say, and sound good saying it, your podcast will be fine.

What if I don't get any listeners?

The listeners will come; it just takes time.

Podcasts are a million times better than radio for that reason. Once you’ve created and published your podcast, it is available forever. And that gives it time to gather an audience as it gets listened to by a few people, then shared over and over again.

This combination of being sharable and being “evergreen” is what makes podcasting so powerful.

How do you promote my podcast?

We notify own social media connections on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. We DM you on all of those platforms so that your social media gets engaged as well.

This leverages the network effect to get your show out there, and targeted at the people who it will most positively impact.

How long does it take to produce a single podcast episode?

It depends on what you want. But as a rule, every hour of recorded time generates 3-5 times that much in additional post-production work. Sometimes more!

Can I get written transcripts for my episodes?

Yes, that is part of our standard offering. We will generate an automated transcript, then run it through 2 different sets of human eyes before sending it to you for publication on your website.
